Our passion, our goal, the thing that gets us out of bed in the morning is helping people create the kind of images they’ve always dreamed of.
An important part of our job is looking at a technique or a concept and reverse engineering it, and then we break it down, and teach it step-by-step through our online classes, through Photoshop User magazine, through our quick tips videos, and through live seminars and conferences, so that anyone can learn - no matter where they are in their journey. Beginners learn from us. Intermediate level folks learn from us. Even advanced users come to us, too (everybody needs to keep learning new things, right?)
In short, we are awesome at making the “hard stuff” simple, and that’s why tens of thousands of people all over the world are a part of KelbyOne.

I couldn’t get through this video due to the presenters overly crunchy low volume voice. Vocal fry is ruining presentations. Speak up and actually use your voice !
Why is the guy on the left constantly interrupting with banal comments?
It's pretty easy to adjust the exposure or simply crank up the dehaze tool in LR and that reveals all the dust spots that would ever appear on prints.
Ngl I’m torn right now. I’ve got a 1D X but I could buy an R6 instead The biggest issue I have with buying mirrorless over DSLR is the cost of the lenses being so high even used. Canon EF mount lenses are so much cheaper now compared to RF mount
Thanks, was looking how to do this for a while
Such a pity that Adobe doesn't sell lightroom as a standalone, their missing out on so much profit.
Scott.... We were there three times in the last year..... yes, the crowds are horrible.. ...... But, you can NOT get there before dawn if you are on one of the ships... FACT lol George of Tampa, Fl
This doesn't work at a lot of locations anymore. Tunnel View, probably the most iconic place to shoot in Yosemite, is packed at dawn (weekend), sometimes even before dawn and in Kyoto, the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest had several people there waiting for the sun to rise, a few of them "tourists" too. I was in Death Valley shooting the temporary lake at Badwater Basin in January this year and when we got to the parking lot 30 mins before sunrise, about 10 to 15 cars already there.
610?! 🎉
Great advices!!!! Thanks for sharing your insight!😊
Thank you! I am happy to share! :-)
Colorado!!!!
It’s useless replaces objects with low resolution blurry blobs of pixels, you won’t notice them on a phone but on a big screen or print there they are.
That’s hilarious, Scotty! Now you know how I feel a good portion of the time when I might workshops with you 😆😅 I am always fumbling with my settings until you program the three custom settings into my camera (thank you very much!) ❤️
Hello, Is there a place to submit photos for review and ask questions? Thank you
Beautiful
Scott: another positive of Smart Sharp...I tested HiPass and S/S on an image, and the resulting HP file ended up being substantially larger than the S/S result. Why would that be?
Thanks for the expand tip. Thanks
oh i thought you were going to teach me
I've always wondered why people use greenscreens for photography
Excellent 👍
Is there a lesson on how to make skies and add them to Lightroom, or photoshop?
Problem is even with little chunks you end up with a blurry blob.
We still can't avoid doing it in the old-school-way if we work for printing or anywhere where the final result should only be flawless.
The "good stuff" starts at ua-cam.com/users/liveGCoyS2VYloA?si=K-NwJPqaCV33CG-c&t=1026
Shhhh! It's already too crowded.
Present❤
What kind of flash was used? Definitely not a speedlight, I guess.
My 70-200 I use for almost everything 😊
“Anymore” you didnt need them in the past either.
My 100-400mm lens is on my camera more than my 600mm for the simple fact that it's more versatile and easier to carry it around. 😀
Fantastic advice
This is amazing advice, I had no idea you could do this with a flash
What do I need to do to get you to look at my photos
What do agencies like AP and Getty Images think of using lens blur or AI sharpening on editorial images?
Sweet
Scott, I love the grid. I learn so much! In a past episode, you mentioned a small sling camera bag for a second lens and accessories. What was it? Thanks
I live an hour north of Oslo, and I can say you are not wrong 😊
Interesting example of using generative fill, but I wouldn't call this step-by-step guidance, as the presentation is a bit convoluted in areas and has a bit of a process order problem. I say this notwithstanding that the level of PS knowledge one needs in order to follow Russell should be above basic beginner.
You need to add a highlight to the bird's eye
Great episode!
Please help me, I'm going insane. At 35:14 you use a method to straighten some keystone distortion. I've been trying to do this in my PS but cannot for the life of me get it right! Please explain how you do it. (I know there are plenty of other ways to correct perspective, but the method you used in the video looked so quick and easy I'd like to introduce it into my own workflow for quick corrections.)
Hey Scott, another great video. Really love the GRID video - so informative,. Do you have advise on how to migrate from Lightroom (mobile) to Lightroom Classic? I'm finally making the plunge to get easy access to plugin! :) Cheers Kelvin - Australia
🧐🤓🥸
Your explanation of how to get a black background anywhere is probably the simplest I have seen so far.. very helpful… Kepp up the good work

What about the fact that it's straight up stealing information, pictures, art, etc? Not only is it taking peoples jobs, it's stealing their work as well.
it only works if the exposure settings are different. if you do studio work with strobe, and your exposure setting are the same but your strobe lights pops inconsistently, it doesn’t work. is that correct?
When I travel, I always use a small crossbody messenger bag and no one knows it’s my “camera bag” I take a body and 2 lenses that’s it!
Lazy photography for iPhone users just get a bloody tripod
You still need a tripod, it doesn't stabilize very well during this.
Always a great education, thank you
What about nature shots, not city shots? Waterfalls? Moving water? Ocean shots? Don’t think you can bracket your way out of those shots. Maybe a monopod, if shutter isn’t too slow? Would love to figure a way to go light there.
